A female Beluga Whale named Aurora I observed at the Vancouver Aquarium was the inspiration for this sculpture. Beluga's are known as the "Canary of the Sea" for their clicks & pops that they use to communicate. Highly social & highly intelligent, a Beluga Whale named Hvaldimir became famous for being a supposed spy in and around the waters of Norway. Their melon shaped heads & lumpy bodies make the Beluga one of the most interesting whales in the world. Limited edition of 450. Artist-Charles Grant
